Writers' Kalam Announces Final Call for Submissions to To My Beloved Teacher Anthology

Writers' Kalam Publishing has issued a final call for submissions for its much-anticipated anthology, To My Beloved Teacher — a heartfelt tribute dedicated to celebrating teachers and mentors who have shaped lives and inspired futures.

This unique literary project invites the global writing community, students, and professionals alike to reflect on the transformative power of teaching. Beyond the traditional classroom setting, the anthology embraces a broad view of mentorship, honouring coaches, spiritual guides, parents, and anyone who has played a vital role in nurturing growth and potential.

"At the heart of every meaningful life story stands a teacher — someone who, knowingly or unknowingly, lights the path ahead," said a spokesperson for Writers' Kalam. "Through this anthology, we aim not just to celebrate individuals but to explore the art, craft, and evolving dynamics of teaching itself."

The anthology welcomes a variety of creative expressions — from poetry and short fiction to essays and personal reflections. Writers are encouraged to share personal tributes, explore the essential qualities of great teaching, or reflect on how education continues to evolve in today's digital age.

Among the early entries received, two exceptional poems — "More Than A Light" by Ashwin Ramesh and "Teacher Divine" by Rachael Savina Goveas — have already been selected for special showcasing, setting a remarkable tone for the upcoming volume.

Introduction: During the mediaeval periods, miracle plays were very popular in Europe. They were based on the lives of Saint Nicholas, a 4th century bishop, and Virgin Mary. They were mainly presented in churches to communicate the Bible's lessons to illiterate audiences.
