The Silent Surrender by Ashima Syal | A Poem

She surrendered to the silence that flowered in her,

She wanted to be encircled in nature’s spell, so she hid behind the flowers.

She wrote letters and combed them with honey combs.

Her tears felt like morning dew.

No one was there to catch her gaze, only nature was there to gather her grace, in every trail she left on green patches,

she claimed to have a conversation with nature.

Coniferous, Pine, Deodar were her troupe.

Only forests knew the secret tales that reached out to her in defense.

In her silence, she unveiled all her stories to nature, only to fall back to its echoes in silence.
